Favorite book from favorite author

I just finished “And the Mountains Echoed”.
Another master piece by Khaled Hosseni, who is an Afghan-American writer and it is his third book after Kite Runner and The thousand Splendid Suns.
The book has gained much popularity in short span of time, this is a superstar storyteller and Khaled once again proved his spectacular writing skills in the novel. I say it with no doubts.

“And the Mountains Echoed” begins with a fable that a father, named Saboor, tells his children Abdullah and Pari. In the story, the gaint takes away children of the village and disappears. The residing farmer of the village forced to sacrifice their one favorite child to div, but the farmer tracked div and found his child in happy mode in a garden with happy faces. The farmer decided to leave after seeing his child in a better environment and as a gesture of kindness, the giant gave him some portion of land, which will make him forget his son and that will overcome his poverty.
Khaled Hosseni has connected this story tale with family of Saboor from Shahdabagh village. The book is about inseparable love between Pari and Abdullah, the bond between siblings is pure and filled with emotion, tenderness and affection. The story is how the relation of Pari and Abdullah gets disconnected for many years, how their family suffers, how their lives move from countries to countries and how their other family connections reunite their relation at the end. It is beautiful simple story that captures the essence of the readers. One always becomes curious to know what happen next with Pari and Abdullah. There is involvement of many other characters, which are interesting and has a connection with each other. It has many words from French. To be honest, I found some of the parts of book little confusing but over all this is an amazing story, not to be missed out from your collection of favorite books.

The book has some letters from Pari’s uncle,Nabi to Pari, which tells another interesting story. I really find them engaging as it reveals the story that happened years back. As a storyteller, he draws attention toward every character in detail and comes up with truth about human experience.
I suggest all my followers to read the book and I assure you will definitely love it.

Happy Conversations

I always think how different any conversation would be ?
Every talk got to have some reasoning like to inform and get informed, to order and to be ordered, to listen and to be listened, to teach and to be taught. Reasons are too many. I always try to make conversations with random people to perceive their thoughts, attitudes, perspectives and nature of living. It makes me happy from inside. It will make you happy too.

Let me tell you how can you make an interesting and happy conversation. First of all, you don’t need to have any particular typical topic to get started. One should have it in mind that YOU WANT TO HAVE A HAPPY CONVERSATION and that’s it ! when we talk about happy conversation, it explains you will talk in interest of other person, you will make him/her comfortable with you. An important factor in any communication is mutual understanding and this should never ever be ignored. Be simple, Be honest, do not be personal, maintain respect, wear a smile on your face and enjoy the conversation. Do remember the words in capital letters.
At times, moments of laughter and giggling starts unconditionally and boosts up a conversation. These talks are ever cheerful, joyous and pleasant. Do not miss a chance to have a happy conversation. It brights your day, enlightens your soul and make you feel better then ever. Small conversations are way affecting and inspiring. If you have someone you are not in touch, make a call and do a conversation that makes you happy and your friend the happiest. Trust me, you will feel awesome.

Is a tree important in your life ?

Have you ever thought about it ?

We all probably answer in NO because it is not being any important source to our daily lives.
The answer to this question is simply given by a little poor girl, who resides in a rural area. The girl named, bakhtawar met me on my visit to a village, with my family.

Poor girl was having lunch and I was sitting next to her. We were sitting outside a hut in a summery day.  As load shedding is now a daily part of Pakistanis, the electricity went off for two hours and I started talking to her about intensity of heat in these summers. The sun was so hot and sun rays was hitting earth directly. On asking about electricity and how do they sleep, in the absence of light?
Bakhtawar replied with a soft smile that we sleep so well in nights and there is no disturbance at all. I was little surprised but glad to hear from her as she felt little shy in front of me. Well, she further told me that there is a neam tree in her house which has scattered leaves, thick stem and it is huge in size. The neem tree is like air-condition to them. It gives breezy wind throughout the night and save them from hot weather in daylight.  All of the family members and even children of the neighbors sleep in the shadow of the tree. Little girl further said that neem tree is so much beneficial for them in every weather and tree is the best part of their home and we all just love it.

Her love for neem tree was so pure. By looking at her, I felt so much satisfaction and expressions of joy on her face. Then, I understand that how trees can also be so useful in fulfilling someone’s needs and of course, trees are important and are needed to be valued.

Let’s come to the beauty and uses of evergreen neem tree.

Neem tree is a symbol of health.

Neem tree is mostly famous in India but is also found in Pakistan and other places. There are countless benefits of using neem in our lives for multiple reasons. Many other names are also given to neem as “Divine tree”. It has great significance in providing beauty treatments and yes, it must be a favorite for women all over.

Hence, life is not about artificial luxuries, it is all about adaption of beautiful nature and simplicity in our lives.

From bed of yellow flowers

As I looked from the window of my car, the sight fascinated me. I have never seen such an attraction to my eyes. The big yellow flowers painted a beautiful scenery that i have never seen before in my life. Yes I am talking about sunflowers, that are grow for beauty and known for beauty.

As i entered in the field of sunflowers, i was amazed to see those tall and bright colored flowers, which are big in size and are heavy in weight. Sunflowers have big, daisy like flower faces of bright yellow petals and brown centers that ripen into heavy heads filled with seeds. These flowers are to provide seeds that are used in cooking oil, feeding birds, healthy foods and many more. The special features of sunflowers is that it attracts birds and butterflies. I also some bees and birds in the field. The yellow bed of sunflowers gave a mesmerizing sight and i loved being there.
All the sunflowers were looking towards the sun as it is the basic need of flowers. That scene was so appealing. I was in the fields for two hours and i wanted to be there till evening to capture the scene at sunset.

Signed Up for Facebook

I still remember the afternoon day in July 2009, when my best friend had asked me “Don’t you have a Facebook account?” and I simply said, no. The similar day, she made an email id for my facebook account, updated all the required data and asked me to come online.

The start was quite uninteresting and dull as it seemed boring to comment and response. My facebook friends were pretty excited to see me on social media and welcomed with warm wall posts. As time passed, I was in touch with this interaction via social media website. Gradually, I started with keeping status updates and friends hit a like or comment. It was an initial start on social media but I was enjoying it excitedly. Facebook soon became an addiction to me and it helped to enhance my intellect, raised knowledge on current affairs and a best platform to inspire and influence the masses.

I was little astonished but cheerful to receive so many birthday wishes on my wall, turned into time line now, for the very first time, loving friends wrote sweet greeting messages which actually made my day a beautiful yet most remembered one. I was quite familiar with facebook features and kept on using them.   Another wonderful activity, which is mostly liked by teenagers is to update DP, it is Display Picture or Profile Picture. Users keep on changing profile pictures with recent and gorgeous photos, girls are crazy for that. Even, some of my friends keep on changing it every day.

One, who signs in, is very sure to be informed about daily happenings, events in particular area of interests and for that one have to like official page. I have almost liked all the pages of my interest from fashion, news, media, online works and yes cooking! With so many interactive activities, it soon became my first priority as I connect internet

Facebook has been an amazing social media website to connect me with my old fellows, with whom I was never in contact. Even I personally want to say THANKS to the website, which has million users that is FACEBOOK.

At present, almost everyone who has access to internet holds a user account on facebook – a social media website. The social media website is just like craze of business for many users, who earn billions by working online. Numbers of online boutiques, accessories, photography pages are registered to make money and scatter their business. It is one of the most recognized website for everyone, who desires to connect and learn what is happening around.

There is ample material to write for social media as it is the powerful and influential tool of interaction with the entire world.
