Mother – She deserves to be treated as queen every day

It seems one day is just enough for all the days she pampered us with love, affection, and utter responsibility. Really?

roses-1346673_960_720

I am not a much huge fan of celebrating days, BUT I think it keeps us remembering the moments. Still, one day is never sufficient to say ‘Thankyou Mom you are truly special’.

What comes to your mind when you say ‘Mother’?

Everything! Or, Maybe someone whom I look forward to every morning or the lady whom I can’t share the worries so that she does not trap herself with tensions or Maybe such a woman who always pray ALLAH for the safety of her children from evil eyes or a woman whose eyes filled up with tears of happiness as she sees you with love.

You might have some other sort of explanation, But I know it would be heart touching in every way. I would love to have your definition 🙂

I believe if there is any relationship that is special, inspirational and jammed with emotions it would be a ‘Motherandchild’ relationship. Motherhood is definitely not beatable in any corner of the world. Let’s make Moms more special by treating them Queens every day.

Things you can present to your mother every day;

1)A beautiful flower (You can also give rose petals in a bowl of water)
2)A kiss to her forehead
3)A tight hug of love
4)Give time or take her to a walk
5)Help her in doing house chores or cooking.
6)Buy her a gift in a week or maybe a month.
7)A goodnight wish

She doesn’t need more! A mother only desires respect, love, care and time.

Islam, the religion of peace, has always stressed significance on the mother. Not just Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and several other religions signify the importance of pious woman and mothers.

mother day

I wish I could give advice to those who scold their mothers for awkward reasons and they even don’t regret the words. Be good to your parents and treat them with kindness.

Importantly, I want to pay tribute to all those gorgeous mothers who have around 1000000 levels of tolerance against their kids! 😉

Take out the mask and live a happier life!

Are you really happy or you pretending to be happy?

When anyone asks you, do you feel excellent about your life? Most of the time the question remain unanswered and we move on. Although living a happier life is not that complicated, in fact it is a simple and easy attempt toward positivity.

Can’t we start living a happier life with some easy-to-do steps?

1) SMILE
yes; a smiling face is a happier face. When you smile, your soul shines and it naturally bring glow to your face. Smile helps you overcome the feeling of stress and discomfort. For example, when you see a smiling child or a person who wear smile, you overcome stress and give smile in return. Here, you feel the moment of joy. Just give it a try and you will experience the positivity in air, leads to happiness.
2) BE BEAUTIFUL
Becoming beautiful is the expression to be real YOU and to look graceful. A gorgeous body needs a shinning soul to make it a perfect blend of beautifulness. Here, another question click my mind and it says, “What makes our soul to be more beautiful?” It is the thoughts we carry in our minds and we need to harness those thoughts. Make your soul be pure, real and positive.
Looking elegant is your personal right and you should never allow this right to be challenged. Carry things that look amazing on your body, take an effective skin care and stay healthy.

3) LOVE YOURSELF
we see people around us who always show discouragement to themselves. They lose hopes easily; they get affected at once, they take everything for granted and STOP moving forward. I believe loving yourself is an inner confidence which urges you to improve, look better and aim high. Be your favorite. Make efforts to love the goodness of your personality. Have a belief in your personality that I can and I will.
Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing can make you happy until you choose to be happy”-Ralph Martson.

4) WEAR DIFFERENT COLORS
Everyone has own choice of wearing dress and the color that suits. Wearing few colors repeatedly make you a static person so wear some brightening shades like yellow, orange etc. White is a must-have in a wardrobe. Save money and change your wardrobe after few months, seeing your budget and pocket.

5) HAVE A CONVERSATION
At times, we feel displeasure in our surroundings and we need a break. Yes, you are on point. Pick up your phone and make a call to your friend. Mostly they are friends who listen and comfort you, depending on the bonding you share with the other person. The conversation can distract you from daily routines and you start talking about other stuff at least for few minutes. If you are a girl or women, it never sticks to minutes; it would be definitely a call of more than an hour. Other than calling, start texting or messaging but take yourself out from facebook and twitter.

6) TIME TO EXERCISE
A body needs movement to get fit and active. Staying in motion and doing an activity like dance or indoor games is an exciting way keep your body in shape and motivate to exercise daily. Do not adopt any exercise as a must-to-do-job but enjoy the activity for 15 minutes daily and let your body enjoy dancing.
When a physical activity has fun aspects you’re more likely to make it a habit because it doesn’t feel exercise”, says Ottawa exercise specialist Jennifer Greger.

7) MAKE OTHERS HAPPY
We can’t feel the real happiness unless we spread the moments of joy and delight. It’s all about being kind, being helpful and being entertaining towards others. For example speak gentle words with old couple, pass a smile to a stranger, ask about your neighbor health, listen stories of other lives, play with a child, say a word of gratitude, motivate someone, hug you mom, proudly introduce your father to your friends, etc. There are many little things around us, that can bring a positive gesture and YOU be the reason of enchantment for others.

8) WEEKEND IS FOR OUTING
After working for 6 days a week, all of us need some quality time for our family and friends. Here it is, the happy weekend. Decide the places to visit and enjoy. For shopping freaks, time to go out! Watch a movie with your favorites. Give your choice a thought and entertain yourself.

9) ENJOY THE MOMENTS AND LAUGH
Enjoying moments is to create a comfortable environment where you crack funny stories, show art of giggling, sing a song with your own created lyrics, celebrate a win over your joke and live in the instant time of entertainment. This time is inestimable, it never comes back.

If we wear a mask of happiness, it is injustice to your inner soul. Live a simple but happier life.

Childhood Memories – April’s Fool Day

Taking YOU to my childhood, the time when children are energized, capable and loaded with creativity.
On the same day, 1st of April, I accompanied with my sister and friends, wandered in our neighbors and paste the poster, shown in the picture below.

Yes, we were hilarious kids! The time was fun. What we do was we waited for April fool day, make weird plans, spot the targeted family and decide the timings. On the day, we gathered in groups with our childish yet idiotic ideas that were overflowed in our little minds. We did not care about the hot sun that tanned our skin; we were highly focused on the execution of our plan. Our house was in a compressed narrow street which had all houses nearby with no distance between them. In the mid-afternoon, my friend took two posters with words “Sorry! For this April Fool, We are your nearest neighbors” written with a red marker and two empty boxes filled with garbage but wrapped in a cute gift paper. We kept the box on the front door and attached the poster with the box, rang bell and ran as fast as we could. We hide in our houses and secretly watched the scene behind the doors to see who opened the neighbor’s door and how he/she reacted. Then we celebrated a loud screaming noise of laughter in my house. AHH the time was ludicrous and it is inestimable. That time has no comparison.

Remember the good fun days which you enjoyed with your beloved one’s more often as time never come back but we can cherish the sweet, fantastic memories anytime.

And now, I don’t celebrate April’s Fool Day at all.

Favorite book from favorite author

I just finished “And the Mountains Echoed”.
Another master piece by Khaled Hosseni, who is an Afghan-American writer and it is his third book after Kite Runner and The thousand Splendid Suns.
The book has gained much popularity in short span of time, this is a superstar storyteller and Khaled once again proved his spectacular writing skills in the novel. I say it with no doubts.

“And the Mountains Echoed” begins with a fable that a father, named Saboor, tells his children Abdullah and Pari. In the story, the gaint takes away children of the village and disappears. The residing farmer of the village forced to sacrifice their one favorite child to div, but the farmer tracked div and found his child in happy mode in a garden with happy faces. The farmer decided to leave after seeing his child in a better environment and as a gesture of kindness, the giant gave him some portion of land, which will make him forget his son and that will overcome his poverty.
Khaled Hosseni has connected this story tale with family of Saboor from Shahdabagh village. The book is about inseparable love between Pari and Abdullah, the bond between siblings is pure and filled with emotion, tenderness and affection. The story is how the relation of Pari and Abdullah gets disconnected for many years, how their family suffers, how their lives move from countries to countries and how their other family connections reunite their relation at the end. It is beautiful simple story that captures the essence of the readers. One always becomes curious to know what happen next with Pari and Abdullah. There is involvement of many other characters, which are interesting and has a connection with each other. It has many words from French. To be honest, I found some of the parts of book little confusing but over all this is an amazing story, not to be missed out from your collection of favorite books.

The book has some letters from Pari’s uncle,Nabi to Pari, which tells another interesting story. I really find them engaging as it reveals the story that happened years back. As a storyteller, he draws attention toward every character in detail and comes up with truth about human experience.
I suggest all my followers to read the book and I assure you will definitely love it.

Cricket While Travelling

The clock already timed 9:00 a.m and I had missed half of the batting by Pakistan. Like all other Pakistanis, I just took a cup of tea with half of my mind sleeping but eyes widely opened, quickly switched on television screen and sat on sofa comfortably to enjoy Pak vs SA ICC cricket World Cup 2015. In the meanwhile, my dad came to me and asked to pack bags we are leaving for Hyderabad today. My expressions were surprising and I replied with a low tone, Today? What I heard in return was, we will be leaving Karachi in an hour.

Constantly trying fm radio to be fixed out but it distorted badly then my sister, my cousin and I put earphones on and maintain our focus on fm 103 which was doing live commentary about match as it was the only medium which was our exclusive need. We were on national highway moving toward Hyderabad. The weather was little cloudy with splashes of cold wind hitting our faces through car window. The scenery was immensely beautiful.

The cricket match started becoming too interesting, so as our moods. The wickets lined up to fall against Pakistani bowling and we were cheering louder and louder as the wicket goes down. In between, we lost radio signals several times but I was receiving sms, watsapp updates and excitement survived. We stopped for tea at Ali Baba restaurant, which is beside CNG station. Ear phones still on, louder shout and distracting radio signals, cricket was going outstanding and Pakistan won against South Africa.

As I looked out of the window, we were entering Hyderabad city and the weather was bit warm there. I mean it was hot, summers are almost here. Our hungry stomachs were craving for food and we rested at KFC. I tasted Rice and Spice while others took burgers. As we came out of KFC, I noticed a Chai wala(tea maker) was making tea and a group of young boys were gathered around him. And AB De Villiers of South Africa was the point of discussion among them as he stayed long on pitch at Eden Park, Auckland in the match against Pakistan and it was again about cricket. OH yes, South African players are being famous in the streets of Hyderabad too.

All About My Mother

When we caught ourselves in any challenging situation, we turn to ALMIGHTY for forgiveness, help and mercy. After that, the helpless face like mine sits nearly to my mother, look in to her eyes and starts seeking for some advice or even a talk to make myself feel better.

I call my mother as “Ammi” and i feel this word is empowered with love, emotions and unsaid feelings. Yes I am kind of person who shares stories of her friends with mother, she listens with interest and always feels concerned. There is no one like a mother.
She understands when my voice is low, when i am in no mood to work and when i am happy at things. She is a magician to me. In the same manner, when she shows a fake smile on her super shining face, my eyes catch her pained expressions that she gives while cooking, talking, relaxing and I ask her about the pain she is going through. Most of the time, my mother misses my grand mother. No doubt, my grand mother was such a loving and simple woman to be missed at every moment of life.

Sometimes, in the mid of nights and between my sleep, I wish to have a box or something that keep moments of happiness of my family for lifetime.

Recently, when we attended my cousins mehndi(henna) ceremony, all the boys performed dance on music and room was bursting with loud screams, laughs and giggles. I have captured my mother super shining smile on energetic dance performance. And it was out-of-this-world moment to me, when she smiles. Truly saying, guys hit the floor that night and danced stupidly.

Telling some awe-inspiring qualities of Ammi Jaan, She never complains of anything to my father, brother and even to my sisters and I. She does not get much influenced by the desirous attractions of this happening world. She wishes to visit again and again to Makkah and Medinah where she finds her soul complete. She loves feeding to poor women and children, she quits her day sleep to give food to needy who knocks our gate and she loves spending time and listening to them. She does not express her feelings in front of anyone but when we are together talking to only her and about her, Ammi feels high on the sky. My mother is an insipiration to me and my sisters.

Yes, she is a worrisome mom who gets worried at every single nook of the day. Her care and love is too precious to be compared with anything on this world. Her genuine smile is enough for a long tiring day to pass. Her long prayers(Namaz) are so heart touching that one cannot move forward without saying Ameen. She is an inspiration for me and mt sisters.

I love my ammi from the core of my heart and she loves us all with her super shining heart. Her kisses on my cheeks make my skin glowing and soul brightening. Yes, I love her that much. I hope one day, I will make her proud of me.

Never let it go, the cherished moments with your parents and siblings. There is nothing like them in this entire world. Everything will leave you but not them.

While she is watching her favorite t.v serial, I just go and surprise her with her favorite fruit salad 🙂
