A piece of paper said it all.

Cute Proposal!

Due to hustle and bustle of daily routine lifestyle, Sara planned to join at lunch with Ali, her colleague at office. Both, the individuals were craving for a delicious taste of Chinese food and rest their feet at the newly opened restaurant. The smoke, from the platter, was filled with savory aroma and glasses of juice were placed on each corner of the exquisite table. The environment was pleasant and charming.

Sara’s phone started ringing, She picked up a call and excused Ali for a minute. In the meantime, Ali took out a paper and a Parker pen. With his untidy writing, he managed to write something in hurry, folded the paper like a napkin and place it under Sara’s mats.

Sara, with overjoyed expression, came back and informed Ali, She has a surprise to tell him. Ali was in state of confusion thinking, What does Sara has to say and a surprise!

In the meantime, Sara took that paper(folded as a napkin) and with a surprising look, started reading it politely, which actually brings a ecstatic smile on her face. The letter said, “I have no understanding, What I have to say But I need to confess, when you say Yes to any statement, I just assume it to be the answer of my question!”

Sara, with mixed emotions, asked Ali, “And what is your question?”

Ali replied with a hand written note, which said, “Do you want me to be with you every time, every day and every morning?”. The boy again mumbled a statement saying, “I always assumed a YES from her”.

Sara did not want to drop this cute moment, forgetting about the surprise of her admission in Fashion designing University, She took a paper and wrote the word, YES, which triggers a delightful beginning of a new story.

If there would be no internet?

I was just sitting on a lounge sofa with a cup of tea in hand, thinking how my life would be without internet?
To start with, I really can’t think about it! I mean SERIOUSLY, NO INTERNET!

The life would definitely be unpredictable and of course boring. Still at the time I was thinking, my cell phone was in my hand and laptop was kept on the table on the other side of sofa. That means our lives are 24-hour connected via internet with people living in different countries around the world. Well, there are people who have grown up without dependence on internet and live a happy, satisfying life without disturbance of face book notifications, red light alarming low battery and overloaded inbox of emails. As I talk about the interruptions from facebook,I have to remind you candy crush notifications. LOL!

Importantly, I would miss GOOGLE for sure, as it is an instant help to all of us and an important source of information just at a distance of one click. There would be no facebook, twitter, instagram notifications which pop up at my phone screen. Oh I will be without my android too. No no NO! And Iphone users, without their Iphone! The time would be without handy technologies too.

There would be no blog with my name, no followers to interact and no forum for sharing my talks with my readers. My thoughts would have been buried somewhere, my stories be faded away and my approach to meet new friends from all over the world would have been flown away. There would be no excitement for uploading a post, and to see how many likes you get. How can I forget to write about facebook and watsapp profile pictures? Profile pictures and selfie craziness will be nowhere. There would be no SNAPCHAT stories of our favorites, we would have been only dreaming to gather any latest news from television or newspapers about lifestyles of celebs. The television will expand its inventive significance and books will be regaining their readers in libraries.

Turning to the other side, we will be having more face to face interactions; there will be no distractions in family dinners/lunch. My mom won’t be complaining about excessive use of smart phone. The absence of internet will ultimately urge to value the presence of books, magazine and other printed versions. Children will be spending more time on physical activities and gaming other than social media, ipad and other handy technologies. Friends will prefer gathering rather than a chat on watsapp group. We will arrange gatherings to look at photo albums, to share moments and enjoy conversations instead of getting likes, comments on facebook and other social sites.

It was just a plain imagination of my mind, although internet is now a basic connectivity of our daily lives.

Take out the mask and live a happier life!

Are you really happy or you pretending to be happy?

When anyone asks you, do you feel excellent about your life? Most of the time the question remain unanswered and we move on. Although living a happier life is not that complicated, in fact it is a simple and easy attempt toward positivity.

Can’t we start living a happier life with some easy-to-do steps?

1) SMILE
yes; a smiling face is a happier face. When you smile, your soul shines and it naturally bring glow to your face. Smile helps you overcome the feeling of stress and discomfort. For example, when you see a smiling child or a person who wear smile, you overcome stress and give smile in return. Here, you feel the moment of joy. Just give it a try and you will experience the positivity in air, leads to happiness.
2) BE BEAUTIFUL
Becoming beautiful is the expression to be real YOU and to look graceful. A gorgeous body needs a shinning soul to make it a perfect blend of beautifulness. Here, another question click my mind and it says, “What makes our soul to be more beautiful?” It is the thoughts we carry in our minds and we need to harness those thoughts. Make your soul be pure, real and positive.
Looking elegant is your personal right and you should never allow this right to be challenged. Carry things that look amazing on your body, take an effective skin care and stay healthy.

3) LOVE YOURSELF
we see people around us who always show discouragement to themselves. They lose hopes easily; they get affected at once, they take everything for granted and STOP moving forward. I believe loving yourself is an inner confidence which urges you to improve, look better and aim high. Be your favorite. Make efforts to love the goodness of your personality. Have a belief in your personality that I can and I will.
Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing can make you happy until you choose to be happy”-Ralph Martson.

4) WEAR DIFFERENT COLORS
Everyone has own choice of wearing dress and the color that suits. Wearing few colors repeatedly make you a static person so wear some brightening shades like yellow, orange etc. White is a must-have in a wardrobe. Save money and change your wardrobe after few months, seeing your budget and pocket.

5) HAVE A CONVERSATION
At times, we feel displeasure in our surroundings and we need a break. Yes, you are on point. Pick up your phone and make a call to your friend. Mostly they are friends who listen and comfort you, depending on the bonding you share with the other person. The conversation can distract you from daily routines and you start talking about other stuff at least for few minutes. If you are a girl or women, it never sticks to minutes; it would be definitely a call of more than an hour. Other than calling, start texting or messaging but take yourself out from facebook and twitter.

6) TIME TO EXERCISE
A body needs movement to get fit and active. Staying in motion and doing an activity like dance or indoor games is an exciting way keep your body in shape and motivate to exercise daily. Do not adopt any exercise as a must-to-do-job but enjoy the activity for 15 minutes daily and let your body enjoy dancing.
When a physical activity has fun aspects you’re more likely to make it a habit because it doesn’t feel exercise”, says Ottawa exercise specialist Jennifer Greger.

7) MAKE OTHERS HAPPY
We can’t feel the real happiness unless we spread the moments of joy and delight. It’s all about being kind, being helpful and being entertaining towards others. For example speak gentle words with old couple, pass a smile to a stranger, ask about your neighbor health, listen stories of other lives, play with a child, say a word of gratitude, motivate someone, hug you mom, proudly introduce your father to your friends, etc. There are many little things around us, that can bring a positive gesture and YOU be the reason of enchantment for others.

8) WEEKEND IS FOR OUTING
After working for 6 days a week, all of us need some quality time for our family and friends. Here it is, the happy weekend. Decide the places to visit and enjoy. For shopping freaks, time to go out! Watch a movie with your favorites. Give your choice a thought and entertain yourself.

9) ENJOY THE MOMENTS AND LAUGH
Enjoying moments is to create a comfortable environment where you crack funny stories, show art of giggling, sing a song with your own created lyrics, celebrate a win over your joke and live in the instant time of entertainment. This time is inestimable, it never comes back.

If we wear a mask of happiness, it is injustice to your inner soul. Live a simple but happier life.

Words Of Appreciation

Have you ever think about words of appreciation ?
I always feel so overwhelmed by the special words, yes i name them “magical words” as they do magic. It actually lifts up the conversation and expands our talking behaviors with each other. Every word that helps in encouraging the efforts are always special and they blow their magic to the other person. Here i write some of them and just imagine how it brings a confident smile on your face when someone says it to you on your performance or attitude.

Appreciate others to get appreciated.

Twelve Ways Of Winning People To Your Way Of Thinking

While I was thinking what topic I should chose for writing on my blog, a book placed at my book shelf gets attraction. The name of the book is “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by DALE CARNEGIE.
The title of the book is as appealing to my nature as I love making friends and I would love to go in deep readings just to find out the ways to inspire and influence people. Yeah I believe, I have some hidden leadership qualities in me (oh yes, leadership qualities) and the best thing about being a leader is to get plenty of love and loads of affection from followers. With that devotion from followers, leader is always challenging and a man of good sense of responsibility. It always excites me to read stuff that is challenging to one’s soul, to win people interest and to understand other point of views. Although, I know there are some of so annoying human existence with us but we all have some sort of qualities which are not in favor. In short, we are all not so perfect.

Anyways, coming back to the small book by the great writer, I would like here to highlight Twelve Ways of Winning People to Your Way of Thinking. This is interesting!
Rule 1: The only way to get the best of an argument t is to avoid it.

Rule 2: Show respect for the other man’s opinions. Never tell a man he I wrong.

Rule 3: If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically.

Rule 4: Begin in a friendly way.

Rule 5: Get the other person saying “yes, yes” immediately.

Rule 6: Let the other man do a great deal of talking.

Rule7: Let the other man feel that the idea is his.

Rule 8: Try honestly to see things from the other person’s point of view.

Rule 9: Be sympathetic to the other person’s ideas and desires.

Rule 10: Appeal to the nobler motives.

Rule 11: Dramatize your ideas.

Rule 12: Throw down a challenge.

I hope the above few pointers will benefit your efforts in winning people to your way of thinking. I will keep sharing valuable words with my readers in future too.
